This booklet will look at a few verses, which at first glance seem to lower the status of women. But when examined in context, rather than preaching a subservient message they actually affirm the status and equality of women and conform to the example of Jesus.

The Path of Being a Disciple of Jesus: Life in Jesus is the workbook on discipleship and walking with Holy Spirit that Alan wrote for the pastors in India.
It is a workbook and is written including activations. The idea is that you will read only a few pages a day.
And then spend time with the Holy Spirit applying what you have learnt during that day, or week before you press on to the next bit.
You could read it like a book but that is not the way it was written to be used.
There are now over 1,000 pastors in the group we support.
For the pastors in India almost all of the content is new.
And only a few of them have had teaching about the Holy Spirit.
For you, some of it will be familiar and some may be new. Some of it you might recognise from our church.
Use those parts that are helpful to you and do this thoughtfully and prayerfully and with a spirit of grace.
Just skip the bits where strange Indian words are used or issues from their culture are discussed.
